ARRIVAL DETAILS

The Quantico 12K presented by Stafford County Tourism starts at 6:30 a.m. on Floyd Lane near the OCS Chow Hall and the Candidates’ parking.

Water points

There will be 3 water points for this course. Water points will be located along the course near the following locations.

  • WP 1 – Iwo Jima trail (Mile 2.25)
  • WP 2 – Buffalo Pond Road (Mile 3.9)
  • WP 3 – Engineer Road near Fartlek Trail (Mile 6)

Nuun Sport provides a balance of electrolytes and minerals for complete hydration. Replenish with their Strawberry Lemonade flavor while you rise to the challenge.

baggage

There will be no baggage area offered for this event. Runners are encouraged to store any gear in their cars. We recommend that all participants arrive with plenty of time to spare, so you can drop off any baggage at your vehicle and prepare to run.

awards

Awards will be given out to the top three overall male and female finishers as well as in the Masters, Grand Masters and age categories.

All awards for the Quantico 12K must be picked up in person at the event.

Finisher certificates

Finisher Certificates may be accessed by clicking the arrow next to a runner name on the results page. Each runner may individualize the certificate by selecting up to four badges that reflect the runner’s experience at the Quantico 12K. Options include: First timer, PR, Running in Honor and Marine Spouse among others. Certificates feature overall, gender and age group rankings.

It’s the greatest half in history! Run through historic Fredericksburg from the retail hub of Central Park, through quaint downtown shops and restaurants, up Hospital Hill to a finish line bathed in stars and stripes.
