Running for a cause? Running to remember? Running to see the sites? Running for the shirt? Countless motivations bring 30,000 runners together to participate in the Marine Corps Marathon. Along with the arrival of spring, this week brings the long-circled date on the calendar for the opening of MCM Lottery registration. Runners can begin signing up for the MCM Lottery beginning on Thursday, March 24 at noon Eastern. Before March 30 at noon Eastern, when filling out the online form, runners can select items to purchase from options including MCM training apparel, pasta dinner tickets, photo package and training program. No transactions take place until runners are officially registered. Emails notifying runners of their status (in or not) will be sent throughout the day on the 31st. Be sure to post a selfie on the MCM Facebook page or on Instagram of the thrilling moment when registration goals have been realized and you win the lottery.
