MedStar has teamed with two leading local running specialty stores to get MCM participants ready for the October 30th event. Beginning in July and continuing through the MCM, MedStar physicians, physical therapists, and athletic trainers will be offering free runner education sessions and access to training runs at Pacers Running and Potomac River Running.
The first of four sessions, Strength & Conditioning for MCM Runners, will be held at Potomac River Running (Arlington site) on July 25 at 7:00 p.m. and Pacers Running (Clarendon site) on July 27 at 7:00 p.m. Pacers Running and Potomac River Running will also offer access to their marathon training programs beginning this month and continuing through October 30 event.
