Presented by Feet Fleet, the Distinguished Participant medal will be presented to runners who have participated in four specific live events in 2023 including:
- Tier One: One of the Marine Corps Historic Half events (Half Marathon, Semper 5ive or Devil Dog Double) in May
- Tier Two: The Belleau Wood 8K & Crossroads Trail 15K in June
- Tier Three: Quantico 12K in August
- Tier Four: Turkey Trot 10K in November.
The Distinguished Participant medal, recognizing a year-long commitment to running with the Marines, is awarded to qualified runners after they finish the live and in-person Turkey Trot in November.
