getting there

Driving directions to Quantico 12K parking:
When using GPS, search for “2189A Elrod Rd, Quantico, VA

Take Exit 148 (Marine Corps Base Quantico) off I-95 and follow to “Mainside.” From I-95 North Bound, merge right after exiting. From I-95 South Bound, turn left at the first traffic light after exiting. Approach the gates to enter Marine Corps Base Quantico. Please have Photo ID ready to present. Once through gate, remain straight on Russell Road for approximately two miles.

At the traffic circle (Dunlap Circle), take the first exit onto Dunlap Road, which becomes Thomas Street. When arriving at the stop sign, turn right onto Range Road, and immediately veer left to go over bridge onto Bauer Road. Continue on Bauer Road for approximately one mile (passing the air facility on the left). At the first stop sign, veer right onto Fleming Street and cross over the train tracks. Please use caution.

If taking Exit 150 off I-95, proceed through the gate. Please have Photo ID ready to present. Continue straight on Fuller Road which will become Barnett. Turn left onto Range Road and go over bridge onto Bauer Road. Continue on Bauer Road for approximately one mile (passing the air facility on the left). At the first stop sign, veer right onto Fleming Street and cross over the train tracks. Please use caution.

Event Parking

Parking is available at Officer Candidate School (OCS) near the Quantico 12K start line. Follow OCS and MCMO Event parking signs to OCS for access to the 12K start. Signs will direct participants from both Exit 148 and Exit 150 off I-95.

Earlier arrival and carpooling is recommended to assist in the parking flow. Parking closest to the start line will be filled first. Later arrivals will be parking furthest away from the start line. Please plan accordingly.

Road closures

There are minimal road closures for the Quantico 12K. Engineer Road is closed for the event as well as Buffalo Pond.
