About

The event will feature a map accessible through a participant's haku account. The map will show a runner’s progress as they journey part of the distance from Kuwait City to Baghdad. For every five miles achieved, participants will receive historic facts about Operation Iraqi Freedom. Ambitious runners are welcome to complete the total distance between the two cities for a total of 415.7 miles. Those who choose to continue past the 200.3 distance will receive facts every 20 miles until they reach the destination of Baghdad.
