Ask Me Stage

MCM Weekend hosts a series of free speaker sessions on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center. Hear from experts, insiders and MCM Hall of Famers, who will inform, educate, motivate and inspire.

The MCM Ask Me Stage is conveniently situated within the MCM Health & Fitness Expo presented by Cigna on the exhibit floor in Hall B. Review the schedule, plan your trip to the Expo and set aside the time to attend one or more MCM sessions. There's no admission fee and no advance registration required. Runners and guests may drop in during MCM Weekend to listen to and interact with the featured speakers. The Ask Me Stage area features a lounge-style set up perfect for engaging in conversation about the MCM.

Meet the MCM Pace Team. The Marathon Maniacs Pace Team to provide the valuable service of guiding runners to the finish with a specific time goal. Pace groups will target the following finish times: 3:10, 3:20, 3:30, 3:40, 3:50, 4:05, 4:20, 4:35, 5:05, 5:20 and 'Beat the Bridge.' The Pace Team will also offer times for the MCM50K.

MedStar Sports Medicine presents - Sports Medicine Perspective on Last Minute Prep and Recovery. Hear from experts from MedStar, the sports medicine provider of choice in the Mid Atlantic Region and a nationally recognized leader in sports health and safety.

11:00AM - 11:30AM

Meet the MCM Director. Hear about the MCM and get tips and insights from Rick Nealis, who has led the planning and organization for the MCM for over two decades.

11:30AM - 12:00PM

Runner Self Defense. Hosted by Haven Defense, this session focuses on life saving skills and fighting through fatigue.

1:30PM - 2:00PM

Meet wear blue. The wear blue Mile along the MCM course features Faces of the Fallen posters and ribbons honoring service members who lost their lives during their years of active duty service.

Meet Clark Beckham from American Idol. American Idol finalist Clark Beckham will sing the National Anthem at the start of the 44th MCM then join runners in the corrals to participate in his first marathon.

Meet Dean before he adds the MCM50K to his long list of running accomplishments.

Performance Coaching Expertise for MCM Recovery Week. Hear from experts from MedStar, the sports medicine provider of choice in the Mid Atlantic Region and a nationally recognized leader in sports health and safety.
