The new Devil Dog Tandem invites two- and four-legged runners to team up to accumulate mileage from July 1 to July 5. Run any or all of the five days of this challenge while uploading daily results. Receive milestone facts about famous dogs in Marine Corps history each day. It is the perfect way for dog owners to exercise with their pooch, have fun and earn swag both can enjoy.
Registration is $40 for domestic participants and $65 for international. Registration will open on March 10, at 12:00 p.m. (noon) eastern.
During registration, tandems will have the option to join the team of one of five famous dogs and contribute to an overall mileage accumulation. Teams to choose from include Marine Corps mascot Chesty; Kurt, a Doberman who served at the Battle of Guam; MCM bulldog mascots Miles and Molly; and the Devil Dogs from the Battle of Belleau Wood.
The registration fee will cover the shipping and handling for the finisher items for the canine and owner duo participants.
Registration and any associated purchases are final and not refundable by the MCM Organization or any of its partners. Virtual registrations are non-transferrable or deferrable. Any updates or changes to your registration can be made by logging into your participant account or emailing MCM Customer Service.

Run dates begin on July 1, 2021. Participants may run between July 1-5, 2021.
Participant packages will be mailed to all registered tandems and will include a beach towel, dog collar tag and other goodies. Packages will be mailed to the address provided during registration.
Connect a wearable
Participants have the option to link their personal wearables to their participant account to track their participation and submit results. Log into your participant account to view wearable options.
Sync your device under the "Your Devices" tab in your participant account prior to starting your virtual event. Once connected, the activity from your device will sync directly to your participant account.To sync your wearable:
- Connect your wearable device.
- Click on “Your devices” at the top of the screen and click "Connect" under your device.
- Follow the steps to connect.
- You will be prompted to log into your wearable device
Runners are must submit results through their participant account in Haku. More details on team result submission will be available soon.
Results may be submitted via a link to a public page from an app, a screenshot, a photo of a watch or treadmill or directly from a supported wearable device. Ensure to record both distance and time in your submission. Participants have from July 1 through July 5, 2021 to input their finisher data.

The arrow next to a runner's name offers a drop-down menu providing a clickable link to share results, open an individual finisher page or access finisher certificates. Finisher certificates may be downloaded, printed or shared. Finisher certificates will be available starting July 5, 2021.
