A triumphant moment when participants reach the Historic Half finish line. Runners are motivated by the cheering masses lining the street on the final approach. Runners reach the massive stars and stripes archway signaling mission complete. Standing just inside the finish area, awaiting Marines present the symbol of accomplishment-a finisher medal. Runners enjoy this moment of mutual respect as the Marines extend congratulations to the runners and the runners expresses gratitude for the Marines service to our country. Runners proceed to the new Finish Festival location near the Wegman’s parking lot featuring sponsor booths, beer garden hosted by Stone Brewing, activities and post-event celebrations!
