February is more than hearts and flowers

SHARE: Copied!

A typical February would be known for hearts and flowers. This February, though, is all about mud and miles. On February 17 at noon, runners will crash the internet for the chance to sign up for the popular run-to-register known as the Marine Corps 17.75K to be held on April 2 in Prince William Forest Park. Registration for the 17.75K is $60. All 17.75K finishers earn guaranteed access to MCM registration and can skip the Lottery. In 2015, 17.75K registration closed out in only seven minutes. Just one week later, on February 23 at noon, registration opens for Run Amuck, the mud and obstacle event. The registration fee is $50 for the four mile course and $30 for the mini two mile version. Run Amuck takes runners through the trails of Quantico that feature more than 20 challenges and mud features. To register, visit the individual event webpage and click the “register” link. All registration times are Eastern.
