Marine Corps Athlete of the Year Tops All Female Finishers at Historic Half

U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Lindsay Carrick, 26, finished the 2019 marine Corps Historic Half with purpose and pride as the first female finisher ina time of 1:25:02. The Fredericksburg resident and Logistics Officer at Officer Candidate School aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico is the 2018 Marine Corps Athlete of the Year, an award based on active duty Marine's athletic skills and how well they embody Marine Corps values.
Healthy Lifestyle Expo Open to Runners and Public This Weekend

Brooks Running Company and Marine Corps Marathon Organization Extend Decades-Long Partnership

Building on their more than twenty-year historicy, Brooks Running COmpany and Marine Corps Marathon Organization (MCMO) have agreed to extend their relationship for another five years. Over the past twenty years, Brooks and MCMO have cheered on more than 370,000 runners who have crossed the finish line at the historic marathon, including thirty-three runners who have completed every Marine Corps Marathon since 1999, the year this partnership commenced.

One Mile Run Joins Quantico Tri and 12K on August 24 Lineup

The Marine Corps Marathon Organization (MCMO) is adding something new to the August 24 event lineup, hoping to encourage runners of all ages and abilities to participate in the day's events. The new Quantico Mile will preceded the QUantico 12K, both adjacent to Officer Candidate School located on Marine Corps Base Quantico. The morning will being at banks of the Potomac River when 675 athletes begin the Quantico Tri.

Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) Lottery acceptance results were announced today. Runners were notified through email of their status. The 44th MCM will host 30,000 runners and 150,000 spectators on Sunday, October 27 in Arlington, Virgainia and the nation's capital.
Fourth MCM Event Series Win for Virginia Runner

Matt O'Neil, 23, from Woodbridge, VA captured the title top finisher once again today crossing the Marine Corps 17.75K finish line in 1:01:21. This is O'Neil's fourth MCM Event Series win, previously claiming the title as the 2018 Belleau Wood 8K (27:18), 2017 Quantico 12K, where he broke the course record by nearly three minutes (40:17); and the 2018 Medal of Honor 8K (27:26).
Marine Corps Marathon Lottery to Open on Wed., March 20

The Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) Lottery opens tomorrow to all runners eager to participate in the 44th Marine Corps Marathon. Due to the consistent volume of interest, the Marine Corps Marathon Organizer (MCMO) hosts a Lottery-based registration system in order to get 30,000 runners to the start line. The MCM Lottery follows MCM Rush Registration, which was completed on March 19.
Ultramarathon Man to Run Inaugural MCM50K

Renowned ultramarathoner and bestselling author, Dean Karnazes, is set to run the inaugural MCM50K on Oct. 27 in Arlington, VA. Karnazes, names by TIME magazine as one of the "100 Most Influential People in the World," will also be the featured speaker at the MCM Carbo Dining In On Oct. 26, as part of MCM Weekend.
