SEAN BARRETT
Sean BarrettSecond Lieutenant Sean Barrett won the 2007 MCM10K, with a time of 00:33:06. A runner in high school, he continued to train through college as a four-year Varsity Letter winner in cross country and both indoor and outdoor track. Barrett was an All-New England and all-region runner in cross country, a first team All-Ivy League selection in track, and was the Ivy League 10,000m champion in 2007. He was also two-time Ivy League All-Academic Team selection in cross country and named to the NCAA Division I Men's All-Academic Cross Country Team in 2006. Barrett graduated from Harvard College in 2007 with a B.A. in economics, and a minor in government.

LISA DORFMAN, MS, RD, CSSD, LMHC
Lisa DorfmanLisa Dorfman, MS, RD, CSSD, LMHC, The Running Nutritionist® is an accomplished author/athlete, Board Certified Specialist in Sports Nutrition, Sports Nutritionist for the University of Miami Athletic Department and an adjunct professor in the UM exercise science department. She has competed in hundreds of running and multisport events including more than 32 marathons (PR 2:52:32), and four MCM races. Dorfman’s books, The Tropical Diet (2004) and The Vegetarian Sports Nutrition Guide (2000) are available worldwide and at her website www.runningnutritionist.com.



ALISA HARVEY

Alisa HarveyAlisa Harvey is a two-time Marine Corps Marathon 10K Champion. In 2005, Harvey was the MCM First Place Senior Female award winner with a time of 3:10.29. In 1999, Harvey ran a personal best of 2:49.26 to qualify for the 2000 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials. With 25 years as an elite track & field runner, Harvey is the Women 40-44 Masters Record Holder in the Mile run. She also currently holds the American Masters Records in the Indoor and Outdoor 800m, 1500m, and Mile events. Harvey is the "On the Track" feature writer for the Washington Running Report.



JARON HAWKINS

Jaron HawkinsJaron Hawkins is a member of the Cumberland Valley Athletic Club – an Olympic Development running group. He has completed three marathons with a PR of 2:25:32, which he ran at the 2007 Marine Corps Marathon to finish third. Jaron has also run 24:42 for 5 miles and 45:48 for 15k.






KRISTEN GORDON HENEHAN
Kristen HenehanKristen Gordon Henehan won the 2007 Marine Corps Marathon with a time of 2:51:14. As a high school student, Henehan won the 1996 national title at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championship. Henehan was a two-time NCAA Division I All-American at Georgetown University, first at the 1998 Indoor Championships where she placed third in the 3,000m, then again at the 1998 Cross Country Championships where she placed fourth. Less than three months after her MCM win, Henehan qualified for the 2008 Olympic Trials, when she ran a 2:45:15 at the Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon.



CAPTAIN JASON HERNANDEZ
Jason HernandezCaptain Jason Hernandez has been a competitive runner for 10 years. He has completed two Marine Corps Marathons in 2002 and 2004, as well as five others. In 2006, he completed the JFK 50 mile Ultra Marathon. He is currently stationed at Headquarters Marine Corps.






LTCOL ALEX HETHERINGTON
Alex HetheringtonLtCol Alex Hetherington has been a competitive runner for over 20 years and a member of numerous All Marine Running teams dating back to 1994. He has competed in 14 Marine Corps Marathons, including two top 10 finishes, and was the 1998 Armed Forces Marathon Champion. LtCol Hetherington has a 2:29 marathon PR and is an AH-1W Cobra pilot assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 39 at Camp Pendleton CA.

DREW JENSEN
Drew Jensen recently retired from the Marine Corps after 23 years of service while on active duty. A runner since 1975, he has completed several marathons and ultramarathons, though he doesn’t race often. As a sprinter and jumper in high school, his claim to fame is taking second place to Carl Lewis in the triple jump at the Woodbury Relays (NJ) in 1979.


MSGT JEFF KLEMMER

Jeff KlemmerMSgt Jeff Klemmer has been a competitive runner for over 20 years. He has competed on nearly a dozen All Marine Running teams. He was a medal winner at the All Armed Forces Cross Country Championships, a top 3 Marine finisher in the Plymouth Half Marathon, a veteran of several Marine Corps Marathons, including a 2:38 marathon PR, and completed a 50 mile Ultra Marathon.





DR. MIKE MOSES
Dr Mike MosesA native of New York City, Dr. Moses has been a practicing Chiropractor since 1994. He is a graduate of Cleveland College of Chiropractic in Los Angeles, the School of Chiropractic, known for its Chiropractic heritage and adjusting technique expertise. Prior to discovering Chiropractic, Dr. Moses was a US Air Force Sergeant and is a graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas. His background also includes 2 years of airframe repair for McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach, California.




CARL RUNDELL
Carl RundellCarl Rundell is a 17-year competitive runner. He led the MCM in 2004 for more than 20 miles, falling behind the last 10K to finish in 5th place. He returned in 2005, determined to do better and with a time of 2:22:26 finished just eight seconds behind Ruben Garcia to take second place in the closest finish in MCM history. In 2006, he once again finished second place with a time of 2:24:22 and in the 2007 MCM, he finished fifth with a time of 2:26:28




JILL STEVENS
Jill StevensFrom combat boots to running shoes to high heels, Jill Stevens is the current Miss Utah, and made it to the top sixteen at the 2008 Miss America pageant. She has been an active member of the Utah Army National Guard since 2001 as a combat medic with the 1/211 Aviation and recently graduated Suma Cum Laude from the Nursing program at Southern Utah University. Stevens has completed twelve marathons, frequently placing in the top ten in her age group. She finished the 2007 MCM with a time of 3:23:53.



MEL WILLIAMS
Mel WilliamsIn 1976, Mel Williams began what has turned into 33 years worth of participation in the Marine Corps Marathon. Despite having run the New York City Marathon two weeks earlier, and having stayed up partying until 2:00 a.m. the night before the inaugural race, Williams finished in 2:51:41, 86th place overall. At the MCM, he has consistently finished in the top of his age group, and won his category several times. He was inducted into the MCM Hall of Fame in 2001.
