MCM Event Schedule At-A-Glance
Online Registration for the 2008 Marine Corps Marathon is now closed. Thank you to all those who registered for the 33rd annual event.
Active Duty Registration Active duty military registration is now closed. Runners will be required to show their active duty ID card at Packet Pick-up to receive race materials. This offer is good for service members only and does not include their dependents.
MCM Deferment Policy Did you defer your entry in 2007? If so, you should have received an email containing a special one-time use code and a link to the Deferment Registration Form. Simply click through the online form, insert the code when prompted and registration is complete! The entry fee from 2007 will convey to 2008. Runners registering as part of the deferment program must submit their registration by April 28. The deferment program is now closed. Please contact marine.marathon@usmc.mil, ATTN: Deferment with any questions or to update personal contact information.

MCM Transfer Policy Registered but unable to run? You can transfer your 2008 MCM entry to another would-be marathoner between July 30 and September 30. The new transfer system for the 2008 MCM will require the registered runner to fill out the online transfer request form and receive a confirmation email with a one-time use code. This email should be passed to the transferee, who will need the code to fill out the online transfer application and pay the $25 transfer fee.

Register for the MCHH Due to an overwhelming response, the Marine Corps Historic Half has reopened as of March 31. Click here to register.
Join Miles and Molly, the MCM Mascots, as well as Marines and the Fredericksburg community for the Semper Fred Fun Run, a two mile run/walk for families and fitness enthusiasts for all ages. Beginning just minutes after the Marine Corps Historic Half, participants will enjoy an out-and-back course and are invited to take in the amusement and excitement of race day activities. Online registration is $12 and is open to all ages, strollers are welcome.

The second race in the new MCM Event Series, Run Amuck, to be held on June 21, offers runners a mud-run style course with plenty of obstacles and opportunities for runners ages 10 and up to get dirty! Register here beginning April 23 at noon eastern! Click here to learn more about the Run Amuck.

Don't miss the other races in the MCM Event Series
RunStock- Runners will love the musically magical experience of RunStock, a 5K race completed with a live concert at Butler Stadium. The race will be held on August 23, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. and is open to runners ages 6 and older. Registration opens online at noon eastern on July 2.
Turkey Trot- On November 15, 2008, the Turkey Trot will offer entrants a traditional 10K run, complete with a turkey for the winner! Beginning at 9:00 a.m., the race is open to participants ages 10 and up. Registration opens online on October 1 at noon eastern.

Registration for the 2008 MCM10K will open online on June 4, 2008. The event will be held on MCM Sunday, October 26 and the entry fee is $50. Please check back soon for additional information.

The MCM Healthy Kids Fun Run is an untimed, one-mile run just for children ages 6-13. Visit the Healthy Kids Fun Run page for more details on the event plus great kid-friendly health and fitness tips. Registration will begin online on June 4, 2008 and the entry fee is $2.
