Runner Feedback Here's some of the wonderful feedback the MCM has received about the 2009 event:"This was my sixth year of running the MCM, with each one more precious than the last. So to each and everyone of you who work so hard to make this experience so beautiful, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are all so special...and to the Marines & Navy personnel, there are no words to express the gratitude...you are all truly America's finest and it is you who make my participation unique." "I just can't explain how I felt when I finished and a Marine gave me the medal." "What an unbelievable experience. The MCM was a textbook example of how a big race should be run. No line at packet pick-up, easy access to start, tons of race photographers along the course, great crowds all along the way and a challenging finish. Sign me up for next year!" "The Marine volunteers were the best I have ever seen. This is one of the most red, white and blue events I have event been at." "I can't even begin to imagine how you brought so many thousands of moving pieces together to culminate in this race, but you did it with finesse. Keep up the good work." "I am awestruck at the enthusiasm, professionalism and cooperation of all the Marine volunteers I encountered throughout the day. They were extremely supportive and gave the impression they were not required to be there helping, they WANTED to be there. It gave me another reason to be thankful for having these dedicated men and women serving our country. If I run another marathon, it will be this one again!"
