Information about covering the Marine Corps Historic Half and MCM

Covering the 42nd MCM?

The 42nd Marine Corps Marathon will be held Sunday, October 22, 2017. Thousands will participate in events of Marine Corps Marathon Weekend that begin on Friday, October 20.

All Media must be credentialed to cover any event of Marine Corps Marathon Weekend.

Each individual must complete the Media Credential Request form.

All requests will be reviewed and an email response will be sent confirming Media Credential availability.

Pick-up Locations

Media May pick up MCM Weekend credentials at the following locations throughout MCM Weekend:

Gaylord Resort & Convention Center
1 p.m. (doors open at 12:30 p.m.)
Room: Eastern Shore
Credentials will be available immediately following the Press Conference

DC Duck

The DC Duck will serve as the MCM Media Vehicle on Sunday, Oct. 22. Media are required to board the DC Duck no later than 7:20 a.m. The DC Duck will be located near the MCM start line on Route 110 in Arlington, VA. The DC Duck will be positioned in front of lead runners throughout the 26.2 mile MCM Course.
