Volunteer
Nearly 2,000 Marines and Sailors volunteer MCM Weekend to support runners and their families. The MCM extends to the motivated public an unparalleled opportunity to work alongside the men and women of the United States Marine Corps.
Become a volunteer at the MCM, Historic Half or the MCM Event Series to assist runners and their families and play an important role in maintaining the MCM’s reputation as the "best organized.”
Responsibilities include packet pick-up, baggage claim, t-shirt distribution, water points, food stations, medical aid stations, finish line hospitality, entertainment, kids run and much more. Every volunteer walks away with the supreme satisfaction of a job well done and of supporting thousands of individuals achieve their running goals. Additionally, volunteers receive a coveted MCM mock-neck shirt and a personalized appreciation certificate.

| TRANSPORTATION & PARKING FOR IRISH SPRINT Runners, spectators and volunteers are required to ride shuttles to the Irish Sprint 10K start in Prince William Forest Park. There is no onsite parking in the National Park. Shuttle service will begin at 6:00 a.m. transporting runners from two locations, the Commuter Lot at Route 1 and 234 and Quantico Center parking lot off 234, directly adjacent to the MCM Event Series HQ Hotel, the Holiday Inn. Shuttles will run continuously between 6:00-7:45 a.m. Return shuttles for finishers will begin at 8:30 a.m. All buses will be clearly marked with signs noting their destination. |
