MCM VolunteersThe MCM strives to promote physical fitness, generate community goodwill, and showcase the organizational skills of the United States Marine Corps. That is not possible without the help of more than 1,800 volunteers required during MCM Weekend. Additional support also is necessary during Marine Corps Historic Half Weekend in May, and for each of the MCM Event Series, hosted annually from March through November. A wide variety of volunteer openings are available for individuals and groups.

Opportunities to work alongside U.S. Marines range from distributing runner packets and shirts before the event to supporting a water point, food station, medical aid station, runner's hospitality or the start and finish areas on event day.

MCM VolunteerAll volunteers can pride themselves for supporting thousands of individuals striving to achieve their running goals. Additionally, volunteers receive a commemorative shirt and certificate for each event supported.

Individuals and groups are encouraged to volunteer throughout the year. Support opportunities are announced at a minimum of six weeks prior to each event. Below is a list of active volunteer opportunities.

For additional information or inquiries, please contact the MCM Volunteer Coordinator for individual and group volunteer information.

Each group participating in the Adopt-a-Mile program will receive a $300 stipend. Registration for this program will continue until our limit is reached. Applicants will be contacted directly after that time informing them of application status. Adopt-a-Mile for the 40th MCM will open this summer.
