Charity Partners
By participating in the MCM with a charity group, runners may fundraise while generating awareness for a cause. In 2012, run for a reason!
Runners interested in participating in the MCM through a Charity Partner are requested to check this website in March for official listings and links of approved partner organizations. Many are already promoting their affiliation with the MCM.
As MCM registration for the general public sells out quickly, runners may turn to the MCM Charity Partner organizations as a means to gain access to the event. Ideally, a charity's cause will resonate with individual runners and inspire them to affiliate with a given group. For others, when researching charity options, it is recommended to inquire about coaching or training services, MCM Weekend activities, fundraising goals and group runs before making a selection.
Several UK and US charities are already accepting runner inquiries and may be accessed through the international affiliate link. Any fundraising associated with charity partners is conducted directly between the individual runner and the organization and does not involve the MCM.
