The MCM Runners bRUNch will be held on Saturday, October 26 at 9:00 a.m. near the Smithsonian Metro on the National Mall.  There is no designated event parking.  Runners are encouraged to Metro to bRUNCH by using the Smithsonian Metro station to access the start and the Rosslyn station after the conclusion of the event.  Participants should check in at the MCM Info Tent adjacent to the Smithsonian Metro station to obtain the official bRUNch bib.

The bRUNch is a 5Kwarm up run led by MCM staff along the Mall concluding at the Marine Corps War Memorial, where tens of thousands of runners will pass under the iconic MCM finish arch the next day. bRUNch will be served adjacent to the finish line with a talk led by Bart Yasso, Chief Running Officer of Runner's World.  View the bRUNch course.

Bart Yasso

Yasso has participated in more than 1,000 competitive races- including over 350 marathons- to date and is one of the few individuals to have finished races on all seven continents. In addition to his marathon successes, he won the 1987 U.S. National Biathlon Long Course Championship, completed the Ironman Challenge five times, ran the Badwater 146 Ultra through Death Valley and cycled across the United States twice. In 2007, Yasso was inducted into the Running USA Hall of Champions. He also developed the Yasso 800s, a marathon training schedule used by runners throughout the world, and is the author of "My Life on the Run," a running autobiography featuring the highs and lows of his running career.

All participants will receive a commemorative bib and limited edition MCM coin. Registration for the Runners bRUNch will open in September.
