MCM Runners Conference

The MCM hosts the MCM Runners Conference, a series of three informative panel discussions, on Saturday, October 27th at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill.  Topics included Intro to the MCM, Women Running, First Timers.  Each 60 minute session featured running experts and specialists providing insights, anecdotes, advice and information to best prepare runners for the MCM and the road head.

MCM Runners Conference sessions are free, however, runners must register online to attend.  Registration for each session is separate and space is limited.  Participants may choose to attend multiple discussions.

Chas Henry will moderate the MCM Runners Conference panels and facilitate the Q&A.  A combat-decorated veteran of the 1991 Gulf War, Henry served in the US Marine Corps - rising in rank from private to captain.  Chas worked as national security correspondent for Washington, DC's all-news radio stations, where he reported from Iraq, Afghanistan and Qatar.  His reporting has been recognized with a regional Edward R. Murrow Award and selected for numerous tributes by the Associated Press and the Society of Professional Journalists.
