Course

The Turkey Trot 10K rolls through Marine Corps Base Quantico's tree-lined, winding roads and wraps back along the Potomac River. The Turkey Trot boasts a start and finish adjacent behind Lejeune Hall. Parking is available adjacent to Butler Stadium or in limited supply in the Lejeune parking lot.

**Please note, the START/FINISH this year is different than previous years, please view the course map (above) for all the details.  It is recommended that all participants review and familiarize themselves with the online course map. 

TIMING
The Turkey Trot 10K utilizes Chronotrack Timing Systems, Inc. to record the results of runners. Each runner is provided a Disposable Timing Tag (B-tag) as part of their race materials. The B-Tag is a disposable UHF RFID tag that stays mounted on the runner’s bib. 



ROAD CLOSURES
8:15 – 11:00 a.m. – Catlin Avenue (both lanes)
8:15 – 9:15 a.m. ­– Anderson Avenue (both lanes from John Quick to Myers Avenue)
8:15 – 9:15 a.m. – John Quick Avenue (both lanes)
8:15 – 9:15 a.m. – Hill Avenue (both lanes)
8:15 – 9:30 a.m. – Myers Avenue
8:15 – 9:30 a.m. ­– Kelton Avenue
8:15 – 10:30 a.m. – Russell Road (All lanes from Dunlap Circle to Marine Federal Credit Union)

**All roads will reopen once the event concludes.
