Crossroads 4-Miler

A four-mile run hosted by the MCM wouldn't be right without an uphill climb to the finish line. The Crossroads 4-Miler on Sept. 7 is a point-to-point run that starts at Quantico Corporate Center in Stafford, proceeds north on Jefferson Davis Highway and finishes outside the stunning National Museum of the Marine Corps.

Named after nearby Marine Corps Base Quantico, known as the "Crossroads of the Marine Corps" with many Marines passing through the base several times during the course of their career, the four mile race offers a distinct Marine Corps flavor. Runners will enjoy a special Marine-themed finish in the Semper Fidelis Memorial Park on the grounds of the National Museum of the Marine Corps. The Park's pathway, made of commemorative bricks dedicated to Marines, passes by monuments honoring various Marine Corps organizations.

The Crossroads 4-Miler will stir up participants' inner devil dog just 50 days before the 38th MCM. Participants will receive a bib with B-tag timing device and a technical T-shirt. Boasting a picturesque finish on the grounds of the National Museum of the Marine Corps, the Crossroads 4-Miler, in partnership with MarathonFoto, will provide event photos digitally to every participant for free.

Shuttles
Parking will be located at the start line in Quantico Corporate Center, conveniently located in Stafford, Virginia, just outside of the south gate to Quantico Marine Corps Base. Access is available via US Route 1 or just seconds away from Interstate 95, exit 148. Post-race shuttles will return runners to this location from the National Museum of the Marine Corps.

Directions to Quantico Corporate Center
- From Washington, DC., and Points North:
1. Take I-95 South to Exit 148, Russell Road.
2. Turn Left on Russell Road.
3. Make a Right (South) on Jefferson Davis Highway (Route 1).
4. Turn Right into Quantico Corporate Center.

- From Richmond, Virginia and all Points South:
1. Take I-95 North to Exit 148, Russell Road.
2. Turn Right on to Russell Road.
3. Make a Right (South) on Jefferson Davis Highway (Route 1).
4. Turn Right into Quantico Corporate Center.
