Shuttles

The Marine Corps Historic Half will offer free parking and shuttle services for runners, their families, and spectators.

The City of Fredericksburg will offer a free shuttle service from the Fredericksburg Expo & Convention Center on Saturday, May 18 for all Healthy Lifestyle Expo attendees. The shuttles will depart from the Expo Center continuously throughout the day from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. to three historic downtown locations: the Williams Street side of Hurkamp Park; the 700 block of Caroline Street directly across the street from the Fredericksburg Visitors Center; and at 925 Caroline Street in front of the River Run Antique Mall.

All visitors to the Healthy Lifestyle Expo can catch the shuttle directly outside the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center.

Saturday, May 18

The shuttles, operated by Trolley Tours of Fredericksburg, will depart from the Expo & Convention Center continuously throughout the day from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. to three historic downtown locations: the Williams Street side of Hurkamp Park; the 700 block of Caroline Street directly across the street from the Fredericksburg Visitors Center; and at 925 Caroline Street in front of the River Run Antique Mall.

All visitors to the Healthy Lifestyle Expo can capture the Trolley Tours of Fredericksburg shuttle directly outside the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center in Central Park.

Sunday, May 19
From Parking Location
Free race day shuttle to and from the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center is available for runners and spectators via the Route 17 commuter lot located on US 17 North, toward Warrenton. The commuter lot is located just off I-95 at Exit 133B. The race-day shuttle will operate from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Historic 10K and Semper Fred 5K
While the start lines for the Historic 10K and the Semper Fred 5K are located in the downtown area, all participants are encouraged to begin the day by parking  in Central Park, near the Fredericksburg Expo and Conference Center.  This is the location of the Historic Half start line, as well as the finish line for all three distance events.  Shuttle service originating in the Walmart parking lot will be available to deliver runners to both the 5K and 10K start lines beginning at 5 a.m.  This courtesy service for runners and spectators will continue until 6:45 a.m.  Supporters for 5K and 10K participants may utilize the downtown spectator shuttle to return to the finish line.  This service runs from the intersection of George and Prince Edward Streets from 6:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

Spectators
An additional race-day shuttle will be available Sunday morning to transport spectators from Central Park to downtown Fredericksburg on mile seven of the Marine Corps Historic Half course. The shuttle will drop spectators off at the intersection of George and Prince Edward Streets from 6:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., to watch runners in Historic downtown.
