Finish and Post-race

Enjoy the post-race celebration in the Historic Half Finish Festival. Runners can stop by the Michelob Ultra beer garden for a refreshing beverage, then head on over to Family link-up to reunite with supporters and friends. Exciting activities in the Festival include the Historic Half apparel store, giveaways from VA Runner and GEICO. Plus, Historic Half keepsakes from Lasting Commemoratives. Don't forget to stop by the MarathonFoto area to take a post-race picture wearing the finisher medal. 

Post-race hospitality will be located near the Fredericksburg Expo and Conference Center along with Baggage Retrieval and free post-race massages. Finishers can replenish with snacks, bottled water and Gatorade.  The Gatorade Recover flavors at the finish line will include Lemon-Lime-Orange, Mixed Berry and Strawberry Kiwi. Be sure to re-up with bananas, oranges and bagels located outside the Fredericksburg Expo and Conference Center.

FAMILY LINK UP
Runners and spectators can meet up at the Family Link-up area, located outside the Expo Center. To coordinate link up, meet under the flag bearing the first letter of the runner's last name. The flags are designated as follows: A-B, C-D, E-F-G, H-I-J, K-L, M-N, O-P-Q-R, S, T-U-V, W-X-Y-Z.

Post-race recovery massage will be provided in the Finish Festival area outside the Fredericksburg Expo and Conference Center.  For runners who have participated in previous years, please note this is a new location.  Massage will be capably provided by Solace Clinical Massage from Woodbridge, Virginia.  Solace specializes in Spinal Reflex Therapy, Chronic Pain Management, Active Isolated Stretching and Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage.  In 2012, Solace supervised the entire massage recovery area for the MCM.  Additional massage support will be provided by Serendipity Wellness Studio in Burke, Virginia and Career Training Solutions Fredericksburg.
